Banff is home to some of the most impressive art galleries in the world. The National Gallery of Canada is located in a beautiful structure of granite and glass which was designed by the celebrated architect, Moshe Safdie, and opened in 1988 Other galleries include the Carleton University Art Gallery and the SAW Gallery in the Arts Court.
