The museum displays all information relevant to the time when Native people followed the buffalo herds into the Bow Valley, hauling their belongings by travois. You’ll see many displays showing the clothing that was worn and hunting techniques that were used.
Learn about the legends and myths that encompassed their daily life, and find out about the historical Banff Indian Days. The museum displays a wealth of native arts and a slice of daily life including

This museum is promoted as “ a cultural display that celebrates the richness, diversity, continuity and, above all, the resilience of the First Nations people.” Life-sized scenes depict daily living and ceremonies.
There is a gift shop at the museum as well. The whole family can gain admission with $16.50. It is open in the summer from 11am-6om and in the winter from 1-5pm. You can find the Buffalo Nations Museum at 1 Birch Ave.
