After exploring the ground of the historic Banff Springs Hotel, take the kids for a quick stroll to Bow Falls. The Bow River pours over eroded limestone ledges, creating a roaring waterfall - Bow Falls. It is located just below the hotel en route to the golf course. Follow the sound of roaring water! At higher water levels, Bow Falls is very powerful and can be heard from quite a distance. Great viewpoints exist along footpaths on both sides of the river.
